Running For Research - PWSCarmen Garcia Fernandez, mom to Javi, and one of our spectacular team members/fundraisers, found out last night that she won her employer’s worldwide contest, DHL’s Got Heart. Carmen entered the contest with a goal of raising awareness of PWS and money for RFR.
Carmen chose to hold a padel tournament in Madrid , Spain and the event was a great success. She then went on to win a series of competitions within DHL and made it to the final 3 entrants. Last night , at a gala in Venice, Italy, Carmen was announced as the overall winner. The prize for winning was 25,000€, all of which will be donated to RFR!
